Sometimes, maybe, even often, life presents us with challenges that seem insurmountable.
Faced with the task – daunting for some and daring for others – we size it up and it seems conquerable, perhaps the situation is winnable. So says the ego.
Yet, if the situation is recurring or perhaps persistently immoveable we can become desperate and devastated as decades pass.
Indeed, observing others as seemingly capable of doing naturally, organically and easily from the very beginning of their youth – and enjoying and taking for granted – what you struggle to achieve and accomplish over many decades can seem all too much.
Dropping into the vibration of inadequacy we can wallow in the space of feeling vanquished.
Yet, beneath it all, even this entire life experience if we can breathe through it and sit with our own heart we can tap into a vastness of being that is greater than the problem(s) we face and bigger than the issues before us. In that space, in that place, we are literally giants.
To be there is to be with our true selves and an ocean of calmness and compassion passes over and through us and we bask in the frequencies of oneness, trueness, aliveness.
In that space there is no feeling down or feeling hard on oneself, we don’t beat ourselves up or put ourselves down; we don’t feel small or feel held back; we don’t feel judged, we just are.
We are there, and in that space and that moment there is a sense of wholeness and maybe even completeness.
Rumi wrote a beautiful poem that sums it up beautifully and it’s called: ‘There is a field’, and he writes:
Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing
and rightdoing there is a field.
I’ll meet you there.
When the soul lies down in that grass
the world is too full to talk about.
That field is the spaciousness of consciousness, the wholeness of aliveness, the oneness of all life.
In this life, we move into that space, that place within us, in fact; then life becomes the blissful, joyous experience of fun, flow, fabulousness and freedom.
Be authentically, holistically, intrinsically you!
