These heightened states of fear reveal we have forgotten our true nature and remain in a state of slumber, unaware that we are the sleeping giant within.
Much of humanity scurries and hurries from one thing to another and we remain oblivious to the essence of our being and the Beingness that is our essence.
These emotions are neither bad nor good, neither wrongful nor harmful; they just are and to the extent we utilise them as signposts of our ability to grow and rise above them do we master them and our life experience.
This is not to say it is easy, even though it sounds simple. The journey of consciousness is a process of becoming and evolving, of growing and ascending that can happen in an instant or progress in many stages, over many, many steps in a lifetime.
Finding a place of grounding and centering within ourselves, and our body, can provide the level of peace that helps us remain stable, secure and sane.

The key is to focus less on labels and more on symptoms and, above all, to research widely and diligently for there is always another way, another means by which we can come back to our centre.
