This is a powerful declaration: To yourself and to life.
When you realise who you are, not only in terms of what most interests and intrigues you and what feels most natural and right for you, but deeper, in relation to who you truly are, there is not only acceptance but great peace too.
To relax and rest into who we are is like being carried by the wings of an angel or floating on a cloud, it’s like being nestled in a warm cocoon of nurturing kindness and unconditional love.
We have come home. We have been turned on. We are born, again.
Sounds esoteric perhaps even evangelical, but words fall short and descriptions have no place.
There is deep honour, true reverence and both a sanctity and sacredness that surrounds the knowing of ‘I AM THIS’.
Focused in this knowing we remain undistracted, undisturbed, undeterred from the light of truth within us and feeling into the truth of our authentic awareness brings a level of peace that makes us feel even more alive and even greater peace.
When we own it, we reclaim ourselves, which makes us sovereign in ways regal and resplendent, in ways radiant and rewarding.
We are the treasure we seek, we are the best friend that is always with us, we are the love we always wanted; we are and have within us the completeness we thought was in the world.
I say again, for myself to remember, too, that I am all that I need, I am enough as I am, and in the book by the same title from Richard Schwartz: I am the one I have been waiting for.
I only read the title, and I got it. It said it all: ‘I am the one I have been waiting for.‘
The interrupting mind is befuddled and confused by this statement but it pierces beyond and resonates far deeper, it almost sets off a depth charge at deeper states of our being that reverberates through the layers and levels to bring more light into the shadows and into parts of us locked and hidden away.
As we really realise, truly know and fully own our truth in this moment of what is and moreover of ourselves, there is a profound and potent YES within us that naturally springs forth to embrace and more resolutely ground that in our experience so our innate gifts and talents can flood forth as we seek to creatively and courageously express them in the world or rather as they seek to express themselves more fully through us.
May I awaken before I die that I may realise there is no death.
